# Create an automation for renaming

> Proposed Revit example

## Overview

Define the naming pattern and the exact scope of the change. Identify reserved names and conflicts before editing.

Compare the old and new names after the run. Verify that unrelated items were left unchanged.

## Example request

For the selected sample floor-plan views, propose names using Level — Purpose — Scale. Show the mapping and any collisions before applying it. Leave other views unchanged.

## In Ideatura

1. Open a New Chat and provide the sample model, target and rule.
2. Ask for a short plan and resolve missing inputs.
3. Build the smallest useful version and inspect the native result.
4. Expose the varying values as parameters; save and test a second run.
