# Create an automation for views

> Proposed Revit example

## Overview

Specify levels or targets, view types, templates, scales, and naming rules. Decide how existing views should be handled.

Inspect each view’s settings and contents. Reuse the workflow with a different level set and check for unintended duplicates.

## Example request

Create sample floor-plan views for the selected levels using the named template and 1:100 scale. List existing matching views and skip them. Report any unavailable template.
```

## In Ideatura

1. Open a New Chat and provide the sample model, target and rule.
2. Ask for a short plan and resolve missing inputs.
3. Build the smallest useful version and inspect the native result.
4. Expose the varying values as parameters; save and test a second run.

Requirements → native views and settings → second level set → duplicate check.
