# Create an automation for levels

> Proposed Revit example

## Overview

Define the datum, elevations, units, and level names. Make any associated view creation an explicit part of the requested scope.

Inspect the levels in elevation and compare their values with the input list. Test how the workflow handles an existing name or elevation.

## Example request

Create Ground at 0 mm, Level 01 at 3300 mm, and Roof at 6600 mm in the sample model. Use the project datum and report existing matches. Do not create additional views.

## In Ideatura

1. Open a New Chat and provide the sample model, target and rule.
2. Ask for a short plan and resolve missing inputs.
3. Build the smallest useful version and inspect the native result.
4. Expose the varying values as parameters; save and test a second run.

## Check the result

Elevation table → native levels → inspection → rerun with a changed level list.
