# Enter text for names, prefixes and filters

## Overview

String parameters accept text. Use them for a sheet-name prefix, a naming pattern or a type-name filter when the automation is designed to interpret that input.

Explain whether the field expects literal text, a pattern or a special format. Required text must be non-empty; optional text can be left blank, with its meaning defined by the automation.

## In Ideatura

1. Read the expected text format.
2. Enter a small representative value.
3. Check any naming or filter rules.
4. Inspect the generated names or selected scope.

## Check the result

Text is interpreted as intended and does not produce unexpected names or matches.
