# Use choices from the current Revit model

> Automation parameters · Revit examples

## Overview

Dynamic parameters populate choices or ranges from the currently open model. Common choices include views, sheets, levels, rooms and family types. A fixed list such as top/bottom/left/right is different from a document-derived list of floor plans.

The inspected Revit flow resolves these choices through a read-only parameter probe. Execution still needs to check that the selected model object exists when the run begins.

## In Ideatura

1. Select the intended Revit document.
2. Open the automation’s parameters.
3. Choose objects from that document.
4. Refresh and recheck selections if the model changes.

## Check the result

Selections refer to the correct current model objects.
