# Setup

> Open Studio and select the workspace and application document for your task.

Check your account, workspace and application document before starting work.

Install Ideatura Studio using the access and installation instructions for your account, then sign in. Open Settings and check the signed-in account and Subscription information before starting a task.

For connected work, open the intended Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino or Blender file and follow its setup guide. For Revit or AutoCAD, check the supported version and required Autodesk add-in. Signing into Studio does not establish the application connection.

  3\. Choose the workspace
</h2>

<span id="workspace-and-document-overview" />

Choose the workspace where the conversation, shared context and reusable work belong. A workspace is separate from the Revit model or AutoCAD drawing you select for the task.

<span id="open-studio-check-the-result" />

Open Connected Apps beside the prompt controls and select the intended document. Check its file name, application version, readiness and access. Before requesting model changes, confirm that both the workspace and selected document are correct.

<h2 id="account-requirements">
  5\. Check account requirements

Running a prepared automation starts with its inputs and result checks; you do not need to author its code. Creating an automation through a conversation still requires you to describe the operation and inspect the result.

Check the model and account options actually available in Studio. A subscription to another AI chat product does not establish access through Ideatura or an API entitlement. If your setup requires an external account or key, follow the instructions for that specific connection rather than purchasing another subscription on an assumption.
