# Use viewers beside the conversation

> Studio side panels

## Overview

Keep the chat open while inspecting a reference in a side panel. The guide’s walkthrough includes Markup, a 3D Viewer, and IFC/DWG viewing.

A viewer helps you inspect content; a connected application gives the conversation a particular live document context. State which one the task uses.

## In Ideatura

1. Open the relevant file or supported viewer from the conversation.
2. Inspect the part of the reference that matters to the task.
3. Attach or point to the intended context and explain the requested change.
4. Close the panel when you need more room for the chat.

## Check the result

The request identifies a specific reference and a specific output destination.
