# Read the application capability reference

## Overview

Every connector needs a dated reference for supported versions, setup, read/write operations, input formats, output types and recovery limits.

Keep one shared documentation tree. Add application-specific variants only where the steps or capabilities differ, and link the Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino and Blender guides from this reference.

2. Check the operation you need, including access requirements.
3. Open its setup guide.
4. Use an example verified for that combination.
