# Control model visibility during review

## Overview

Visibility icons sit alongside entries in the model structure. Use visibility to make the area being inspected easier to understand.

Changing what is visible in a viewer is distinct from deleting geometry or editing the source model. Restore the relevant context before judging relationships.

## In Ideatura

1. Locate the relevant tree entry.
2. Use the available visibility control.
3. Inspect the exposed area.
4. Restore the surrounding context.

## Check the result

You understand both the selected component and its relationship to the model.
