# Use the Project panel for 3D and 2D views

## Overview

The IFC interface has a Project panel with 3D and 2D groups and add controls. The supplied example has Model selected under 3D.

Keep the viewer’s Project panel distinct from Studio’s Projects library. One organises the open model/view context; the other organises workspace files.

## In Ideatura

1. Open the IFC Project panel.
2. Select the existing 3D Model entry.
3. Inspect the available 2D entries and add controls.
4. Return to the required view.

## Check the result

You can identify the active view and its model.
