# Attach, Pin or Clone from a viewer

## Overview

The viewer menu exposes Attach, Pin and Clone. Attach contributes material to a conversation; Pin maintains a context association; Clone begins work on a personal copy through the Workbench route in the inspected code.

Check the current conversation and file location before choosing. A read-only preview should remain distinguishable from the editable copy.

## In Ideatura

1. Open the sample in a viewer.
2. Inspect its location and access label.
3. Choose the needed action.
4. Confirm the attachment, pinned state or Workbench copy.

## Check the result

The action produced the intended kind of context or copy.
