# Edit, undo and clear markup

## Overview

Use selection and eraser controls to correct an annotation. Undo and redo change markup history; the clear/delete control removes marks according to its current scope.

Distinguish changing the annotation from changing the IFC or connected application model. Review the marked image before submitting it.

## In Ideatura

1. Create a sample mark.
2. Edit or erase it.
3. Use undo and redo.
4. Inspect the final annotation before attaching.

## Check the result

Only the intended marks remain in the reference.
