# Open and arrange side panels

> Ideatura Studio

## Overview

The split-panel control opens a viewer beside the main Studio area. File tabs, close controls and the panel boundary organise the workspace.

Opening or closing a preview is separate from saving or deleting its underlying file. Keep the source visible while discussing a change.

## In Ideatura

1. Open the side panel.
2. Open a reference or output file.
3. Switch its tab or close the preview.
4. Return to the conversation with the intended reference visible.

## Check the result

You can discuss a source and inspect it at the same time.
