# AI: understand defaults and conversation choices

## Overview

The AI tab needs to explain which choices are defaults and which belong to a specific conversation. Link model and thinking-level guidance to the composer controls.

Changing a default and changing the current task should be demonstrated separately. Use the current model catalogue and supported levels.

## In Ideatura

1. Open Settings → AI.
2. Identify the setting’s scope.
3. Compare it with the composer selection.
4. Check the effect in a new and an existing conversation.

## Check the result

You know which conversations a setting affects.
