Overview

Open an automation you have saved or that is available in your workspace. Read what it does and check its inputs before running it; the kickoff used dimensioning, view creation, and tagging as examples. Check the target model, view or sheet, fill the available parameters, run, and read the report. Inspect the actual Revit result before repeating the workflow on a larger scope.

In Ideatura

  1. Find the automation in the workspace or open its saved file.
  2. Review its purpose, required context and parameters.
  3. Confirm the connected document and fill the run parameters.
  4. Run on one view or small selection.
  5. Read the report, inspect the result, and resolve exceptions.
