Overview

Dynamic parameters populate choices or ranges from the currently open model. Common choices include views, sheets, levels, rooms and family types. A fixed list such as top/bottom/left/right is different from a document-derived list of floor plans. The inspected Revit flow resolves these choices through a read-only parameter probe. Execution still needs to check that the selected model object exists when the run begins.

In Ideatura

  1. Select the intended Revit document.
  2. Open the automation’s parameters.
  3. Choose objects from that document.
  4. Refresh and recheck selections if the model changes.
