Execution modes

Overview Core, Advanced and Direct are execution modes. Read the description and access warning for the mode you select, especially before allowing changes in Revit. Choose the mode deliberately and check the connected document’s access level. Mode, AI model and thinking level are separate controls. In Ideatura
  1. Read the Mode label beside the model picker.
  2. Use the least expanded mode that supports the task.
  3. If the task needs Direct, inspect the warning and the connected Revit target before enabling it.
Check the result The mode and application access match the intended task; no permission change is assumed from a model change.

App permissions

Overview Connected Apps identifies the live document and exposes access labels such as Read, Markup, and Full. Inspect the selected file, version, readiness and writable state before asking for work. Treat access separately from Mode. A request to inspect context and a request to modify a native model need different capabilities; follow the options offered for that application. In Ideatura
  1. Open Connected Apps and inspect the document details.
  2. Check the available access options for that connection.
  3. Confirm the chosen target before sending.
  4. If the document is unavailable or read-only, resolve that condition rather than repeatedly retrying an edit.
Check the result The target, readiness and access are explicit.
