Use the exact object or control name when specifying a task.

1. Applications and targets

Studio is the Ideatura application. A connected application is an application the task can access; an instance is one running session. The document, view and selection identify the task’s scope. An AI model processes the request; a building model is the project material being inspected or changed.

2. Instructions and reuse

Context is information available to a task. Guidelines provide standing instructions; a Skill supplies a focused procedure. An automation is saved runnable work. An AI Flow uses AI during execution. A chain combines operations in a sequence. See Context and instructions.

3. Drawings and elements

A view shows model information; a sheet arranges drawing output. A Room, Area and scope box serve different purposes in Revit. A tag displays element information; Mark is an element parameter and changing it does not necessarily place a tag. A native element has application-specific behavior; a visual preview does not establish that behavior.

4. Usage and output

Credits measure product usage; tokens measure model-processed information; storage concerns retained files. Generated means the work has been created, executed means it has run, saved means a copy has been retained, and accepted means the result has been reviewed and approved. See Automation lifecycle.
