Ideatura Studio is the desktop app where you chat with AI and work with your drawings, models and documents.

Download Studio

Open ideatura.ai/download and choose the installer for your operating system. For Revit or AutoCAD, install Studio on the Windows computer where you use that application. Current Studio download page with macOS and Windows choices and Download for Windows selected. You need an Ideatura account to sign in. If you received an invitation, open it and accept it first. See Create an account if you still need access.

Install Studio

  1. Close Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino and Blender before installing, so their add-ins can be installed or updated.
  2. Run the downloaded installer.
  3. Choose All users when asked who to install for, and confirm with OK. Allow the Windows administrator prompt to continue.
  4. Finish the installation and launch Ideatura Studio.

Sign in

  1. Click Sign in in Studio. Your browser opens for authentication; Studio shows Waiting for the browser….
  2. Complete sign-in in the browser using the account you use in the web portal.
  3. Return to Studio when sign-in completes. You can now start a conversation.
If you signed in with a different account in the browser, switch to the account that has your Ideatura access before continuing.

Choose your first task

You can create and inspect IFC models directly in Studio. Follow the 3D Modelling quick start for a first task that needs no external application.

Connect an application

Start your design application after installation and open the project you want to work on. In Studio, open Connected Apps beside the message box. Your open document should appear in the list. Connected Apps menu showing an open Revit project. If it is missing, open Settings → Repair → Check add-ins and follow the repair instructions. Restart the affected application after repairing its add-in, then check the list again.
