Batch dimensioning needs explicit view scope and repeatable reference rules. An interactive example is not proof that the same operation works unattended.

1. Define the batch

List the intended views, categories, reference faces, dimension style and exclusions. Include rotated or dependent views as separate test cases. Read Interactive dimensions first to establish the intended result.

2. Test representative views

Check a normal view and an exception before expanding. Confirm whether the chosen automation needs manual selection; do not leave an interactive selection step unattended. Use Dimension parameters to document inputs.

3. Check every outcome

Compare the requested view list with actual output. Inspect native references, missing strings, annotation crop and legibility. Decide how existing dimensions and manual edits should be treated before rerunning. Stop a failing batch and review partial changes.
