Check the model and view before creating more annotations. Output can be hidden or attached to the wrong reference even when a run finishes.

1. Define completeness

List the categories, views and expected annotations. Distinguish an element’s parameter value from a visible tag. State exclusions so a completeness check does not mark intentionally untagged elements as failures.

2. Inspect native output

Compare element IDs and counts, then inspect representative references, values and placement. For dimensions, check annotation crop separately from model crop. For tags, check the family origin and label geometry when the reported position seems correct but the label is displaced.

3. Correct only the affected scope

Separate missing output, visibility problems and incorrect output before rerunning. Preserve manually arranged work. Use Place tags, Repair annotations or Review and recover for the next step.
