Fitting viewports on a sheet is different from aligning the model content inside them.

1. Define alignment

State whether to align crop edges, viewport centers, grids, levels or another model reference. Specify reading order, scale and usable title-block space. Identify existing details and notes to preserve.

2. Test a layout

Begin with one representative sheet, including a long view or annotation extending beyond the crop. Check whether the chosen workflow can express the required alignment; a successful rectangular grid does not establish model-coordinate alignment.

3. Review the printed result

Inspect view identity, scale, titles, overlaps, margins and overflow in the actual sheet. Do not accept viewport counts alone. Use Review drawing output before saving or exporting.
