1. State the requirement

State the requirement and the rooms to check. This example uses a hypothetical 40 m² minimum: “Check the Level 01 meeting rooms against a minimum area of 40 m² in the project brief. List any rooms below that area without changing the model.” For your project, use the requirement from the current brief. Request to check Level 01 meeting rooms against an example minimum area of 40 square metres without changing the model.

2. Inspect the evidence

Review the rooms flagged and how far they fall below the requirement. Studio reported six meeting rooms below 40 m²: room 114 at 38.78 m², rooms 116, 118, 128 and 130 at 38.73 m², and room 132 at 39.24 m². Their reported shortfalls range from 0.76 to 1.27 m². Studio's reported table of six meeting rooms below 40 square metres, showing each room's area and shortfall.

3. Review the finding

This report covered host-model rooms on Level 01, excluded linked rooms and reported no model changes. Check the room areas in Revit against the actual project brief before deciding what to change. A check of selected rooms does not establish compliance for the whole project. Report notes describing the Level 01 host-room check, exclusion of linked rooms and unchanged model.
