1. Provide the construction information
Attach your dimensioned sketch and any supporting plan or section. Identify materials, layer thicknesses and the extent to model. Mark unresolved connections or dimensions TBC. A section establishes a profile, but may not show its depth or how it ends. Supply those dimensions before asking for a complete 3D junction.2. Define the model you need
Open your own project in Revit and select Opus 5.5 in Ideatura. Explain where the example should be built and whether you need project elements or a reusable family.Build a small 3D study of this parapet and roof junction in a separate Revit test file. Model the wall layers, GRC cladding and coping, roof build-up and fixing angles as separate editable components, following the written dimensions. Use millimetres. Ask me about the depth and any hidden connections that the sketches do not establish. Start with the main components before adding fixings. For a reusable window or component, follow Revit families and define the parameters and hosting requirements separately.
3. Build the junction in stages
Check the main wall layers, coping and roof junction before adding brackets, fixings or seals. Ask Ideatura to identify which Revit objects it has created and how they can be edited.4. Inspect and correct
Inspect the junction in 3D and in matching sections. Measure the known dimensions and check clearances, overlaps, support and continuity between layers. The fixing angle overlaps the insulation. Adjust it to match the section, keeping the GRC panel and structural wall unchanged. Show the revised section and 3D view.
